Mar City Developments have recently completed on time and on budget, the first phase of Mar City Park in Basford, Nottingham, formerly known as the Gas Works site from the National Grid Plc, which had been derelict for over 30 years.

The site has the benefit of outline planning permission for a variety of employment uses, including retail, car showroom and small industrial units.

Due to our extensive in-house team's knowledge and experience, Mar City has facilitated a fast track, high quality building for the National Builders Merchants - Selco. The prestigious new 40,000sq ft premises is due to open its doors towards the end of April 2009.

Nottingham City Council has identified the former Gas Works as a major regeneration site on the periphery of the City Centre with close proximity to motorway networks (M1).
